For L.A., healthy hair has always been about more than a finished style. It’s about helping women understand their hair, feel confident caring for it, and embrace the beauty of their natural texture.

After graduating from cosmetology in 2018, L.A. began building a career centered around textured hair, healthy hair practices, and education. What started as a passion for doing hair grew into a bigger vision: creating a salon experience where women with curls, coils, and textured hair could feel understood, cared for, and confident.

In February 2020, that vision became Esther Brea Salon.

Esther Brea Salon is a relaxer-free, texture-focused salon based in Columbus, Georgia, serving clients throughout Columbus and the surrounding areas.

The name Esther Brea (pronounced Esther Bree). EBS was created to give women with textured hair more than a salon appointment. We want our clients to leave with a better understanding of their hair and the confidence to care for it between visits.

Through personalized consultations, convenient styling, regimen building, and healthy-hair education, we help take some of the confusion out of caring for textured hair.

There isn't one “right” way to wear textured hair.

You may love your curls and coils one week, want a sleek silk press the next, or choose extensions or another protective style when life gets busy.
